The purpose of this Web Board is to help Long-Term Care Homes in the transition to a new and safer healthcare environment by providing education and support. The project aims to help build capacity within the LTC home’s sector in order to sustain smoke-free environments.

The following outlines the type of information collected, what it is used for, and our privacy policy on the data that is collected.

What kind of information is collected and why?

Registration: To deter advertisers and marketers, we require registration. We encourage all users to remain anonymous.

Email Address: For reasons mentioned above, we require users to register with a valid email address. We forward access information to that address. We do not collect or distribute email addresses.

Nick Name: All community members choose a nickname. We strongly encourage users to choose a nickname, an alias or to only use their first name.

User Agreement: To access our communities all new members must accept our Support Group User Agreement.
