The purpose of The Smoke-Free Long-Term Care Homes Project is to help LTC Homes in the transition to a new and safer healthcare environment. The project aims to help build capacity within the LTC Home sector in order to sustain smoke-free environments.

 

The Smoke-Free Long-Term Care Homes Project will be ending March 31st 2009.  The resources in the toolkit however, will remain available to download.

The Smoke-Free LTC Homes Project Website hosts information and resources for LTC Home staff, including a Toolkit and a Web Board.

The Toolkit includes practical resources such as the Smoke-Free LTC Homes manual; sample handouts, letters and assessment forms; power-point presentations; and much more.

The Web Board is an on-line discussion forum that LTC Home staff can use to post questions, ideas and solutions, and to share information between LTC Homes across the province.
